Function
The Supply Chain Grievance Expert plays a key role in assessing and resolving supply chain grievances in a constructive and fair manner
The Supply Chain Grievance Expert is responsible for :
- Managing Speak for Change (amfori’s supply chain grievance mechanism) (S4C) cases in order to reduce conflict and strengthen relationships between the companies, suppliers and workers within the supply chain
- Assessing incoming cases, monitoring the progress of case handling ensuring procedures and program guidance are adhered to
- Informing stakeholders of the validated grievances and leading alignment meetings with amfori members, the local on the ground SPOC, the amfori Social Programmes Team and Auditors
- Being the first point of contact for all stakeholders in order to provide up to date information on procedure questions, reporting and case management
- Monitoring the Grievance Mechanisms’ Case Management System in order to log and document complaints, resolve issues in the system, be the SPOC for the technology supplier and support the implementation of improvements ad updates
- Playing a pivotal role in the revision of the S4C programme based on important lessons learnt
- Taking an active role in delivering the S4C’s improved work packages for members, workers and local factories.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in handling staff grievances (eg. health & safety, unfair working conditions) in the corporate world
- Excellent English (written and spoken)
- Eloquent writing expertise in order to be able to communicate effectively with all collaborators
- Assertive but diplomatic interpersonal skills mean you engage well with all stakeholders
- You are resilient and never give up and are never afraid of taking decisions
- Solid organisational skills enable you to work in a structured manner and prioritise efficiently
- You adapt easily to change
- Committed to building working relationships based on trust due to expertise
- Enjoy working in a team and collaborating with internal and external partners
