Function
To strengthen our Benelux team, we’re recruiting a motivated
Sales Manager
Benelux
As Sales Manager, you are responsible for coaching and managing a team of salespeople of our BAC products and services, with the aim of achieving the set targets. You analyze the opportunities in the market, discuss them with management and manage your sales team according to the determined strategy. You guarantee a good cooperation within your team as well as with the other departments in our European headquarters.
Do you combine leadership with a drive for value based selling?
- You define the objectives and sales targets for your team and you coach and guide your team to link specific actions to them. You actively support the sales people in your team with larger projects.
- You develop good long-term relationships with your Key Accounts. You position yourself as a technical commercial expert and prioritize providing solutions that meet the needs and expectations of customers.
- You are also responsible for the sales of the BAC products in your region. You actively manage an existing customer portfolio (installers, engineering firms, end customers) in different industries and proactively expand your network.
- You work together with different internal services in our European headquarters in Heist-Op-den-Berg (engineering, marketing, aftermarket) to be successful.
- In line with the strategy, you draw up a sales action plan and accurate forecast together with the General Manager.
Profile
Strong people manager with technical affinity ?
- You have a Bachelor or Master in a technical area and combine this with at least 3 years of experience in a technical sales function, preferably in the construction industry of special techniques such as HVAC and refrigeration.
- You also have highly developed people management skills (analyzing, coaching and guiding your team, working out solutions together, ...).
- You understand the business, have knowledge of the financial aspects and also have good organizational and time management experience.
- You are a strategic negotiator who enjoys establishing and maintaining contacts at all levels in various sectors and with various discussion partners.
- You enjoy presenting customers and prospects with technically innovative products and solutions and convincing them of the quality of the extensive BAC offering.
- You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of French is definitely a plus.
- You can work independently and at the same time you like to be part of a team that can count on your contribution. In addition, you communicate fluently and purposefully and communicate well both internally and externally.
