Currently, we’re looking for a Marketing Communication specialist.

How you will make a difference

You are the gatekeeper of and driving force behind all our marketing communications to customers and external audiences.

This is your mission

As member of an international team of Content and Marketing Communication specialists, you have the end-to-end conceptual and operational responsibility for the local deployment of communication projects, in line with the established Group content and communication strategy.

• You contribute to and advise on Group communication projects initiated by the Team lead Content & Communication specialist, CX lead or Brand manager.
• You develop content and assets (both digital and non-digital) for the relevant channel that resonates with our customer and prospects, ensuring it is line with the brand guidelines.
• You contribute to and advise on local communication campaign designs in strong collaboration with the local Segment Marketeers, and both the Content specialists and Digital Growth specialists. You support in creating and enriching different customer journeys with tailored or bespoke content.
• You drive end-to-end the preparation and execution of the local communication programs for digital and non-digital communication channels (for example e-mail, web, social media, video, print, podcast, messages, events). This includes the oversight of final content, translation and page layout, as well as requesting database selections, guidance for the set up of e-newsletters, mapping of the customer journey and providing the end reporting and insights.
• You contribute to the data preparation for, and analysis of reports on the marketing communication performance and provide improvement suggestions where relevant.
• You support the execution of market research, such as those which could identify industry trends or marketing opportunities.
• You are responsible for day-to-day vendor relationship management. Namely, the first point of contact for all local vendors that are relevant for marketing campaign set-up, graphical design, paper print and postal distribution, translation etc.

To be successful in this role:

You are a customer communication expert and thrive on engage and reach the heart and head of existing and prospective customers. Constantly reflecting on: what effect would this communication have on me as a customer/prospect/supporter?

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in communication or equivalent through (min. 3 year) relevant experience.
• You are an experienced content maker who knows how to write texts or develop other forms of content that leads to conversion.· You have an in-depth understanding of the different communication channels (media mix) dynamics and their distinction in terms of content characteristics/ requirements and individual impact. Within those channels you know how to present Triodos' story commercially.
• You are a result driven professional and capable of handling different communication projects simultaneously and working in an autonomous way.
• You are have an extensive experience with systems that allow you to produce,distribute and monitor content.
• You are multilingual with expert (redactional) proficiency in Dutch and advanced proficiency in English and French.
• You are a motivated team player.
• Experience in working in a complex, international environment and an understanding of cultural differences.

From an organizational perspective you are a member of the international Content and Marketing Communications specialists team. From a conceptional/operational perspective you contribute to communication campaigns and activities at Group level under the supervision of the Team Lead who you report to. At local level you will remain an essential link between the Segment Marketeers, Content specialists & Digital Growth specialists for all local marketing communication projects.
