Junior Treasury Professional
Group Treasury is responsible for liquidity and cash management, debt funding, hedging, collateral management and advising the Executive Board on relevant treasury topics.
In 2021 Triodos Bank executed its first capital market transaction (a subordinated Tier 2 green bond). In 2022 we increased the outstanding retained securitisation transaction, and in 2024 we established a Debt Issuance Programme and issued our first bond from this programme. As part of its overall growth strategy, Triodos Bank will continue to expand its activities as issuer of debt instruments in the capital markets in the coming years.
Your focus will be on front office activities, particularly on raising funding in the debt capital markets. This position offers you a steep learning curve, allowing you to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of the financial industry while contributing to impactful capital market transactions.
In close collaboration with the Group Director Treasury, you will be working on both secured and unsecured, rated and non-rated, listed and non-listed transactions. Furthermore, you will be supporting your front office colleagues with hedging, liquidity and cash management activities, executing repo transactions, and managing collateral. Besides that, you can be asked to also support middle office with a variety of tasks, gaining valuable insights in all aspects of the treasury function at our bank.

To be successful in this role, it is expected that you will have:
- university degree in finance, economics or equivalent in a similar field
- 0 to 3 years of working experience in treasury, finance or controlling
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- organisational skills, a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and leadership potential
- ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- excellent MS-Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- good spoken and written English and Dutch are required
- familiarity with Bloomberg and/or treasury management systems is a plus (but not a strict requirement)
- availability of 36-40 hours a week
- an EU work permit and living in the Netherlands
