Senior Treasury Operations Specialist
Group Treasury is responsible for liquidity and cash management, debt funding, hedging, collateral management and advising the Executive Board on relevant treasury topics.
Your focus will be on executing and optimising treasury operations. You will work closely together with the Group Director Treasury to lead, develop and implement the target operating model for the department. You will be responsible for enhancing the set-up of the middle/back office, ensuring it operates effectively and efficiently. This includes defining processes, establishing workflows, optimising resources, with a key priority on implementing a sophisticated Treasury Management System.
Your role involves elevating the treasury function to a more professional level. Success in this role also requires close collaboration with other departments, such as Finance, Reporting, and IT, to ensure alignment and integration across systems and processes.

To be successful in this role, it is expected that you will have:
- more than 10 years hands-on experience in treasury operational functions
- in-depth understanding of all aspects of treasury operations including payment systems
- zero tolerance to error in settlements, confirmations, and accounting of treasury transactions
- proven experience with improving existing processes, procedures and operational workflows for treasury activities
- demonstrated ability of strengthening governance frameworks to improve the efficiency, reliability and integrity of treasury operations
- proven experience in implementing and optimising Treasury Management Systems
- hands-on experience with various Treasury Management Systems, preferably at different employers
- strong project management skills and a result-oriented approach
- independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills
- good spoken and written English and Dutch is required
- availability of 36-40 hours a week
- an EU-work permit and living in the Netherlands
