Function
We are looking for a freelance Business Development professional to help us scale-up the RoadTrace™ business in Dutch and German speaking markets who is willing to travel to visit customers and prospects in the territory. The mission can be part / full-time and home office based when not travelling.
Your mission is to develop sales of our digital innovation in Road Safety to local authorities and road operators in the territory. You will actively participate in the market development of our analytical tool to help road operators make decisions taking into account road safety factors. We sell this under the brand RoadTrace.
We are looking for an excellent sales professional who is also very strong in active listening, capturing and interpreting customer problems and requirements and adapting the sales strategy accordingly. Prior experience and contacts in the Highways sector would be a strong advantage; otherwise, the minimum requirement would be experience in selling to local authorities and public organisations.
Profile
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating sales in Flemish Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany.
- Identify and prospect customer targets in line with AISIN strategy
- Apply active listening to understand customer requirements and position RoadTrace™ solutions accordingly
- Understand and help implement procurement mechanisms to assist sales
- Develop relationships with major players in the ecosystem (government, highways and road safety institutions, …)
- Participate in digital marketing, trade fairs and conferences
- Log and follow all commercial contacts in our CRM
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2G sales, ideally in the Highways sector
- Dutch and German languages with strong speaking and writing skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit, aptitude for selling innovations (vs. off-the-shelf)
- Prepared to engage in direct customer prospection
- Affinity for digital solutions / automotive / highways
